Miles Romans Hopcraft, born 8â¯Januaryâ¯1990 in Brixton, South London, is a British producer and musician who performs as WuâLu. He began producing at thirteen, selfâreleasing the debut album Ginga in 2015 and two EPs, N.A.I.S. (2018) and S.U.F.O.S. (2019). In Novemberâ¯2021 Warp Records signed WuâLu, issuing the single "Broken Homes" followed by the studio album Loggerhead on 8â¯Julyâ¯2022, which earned an 83/100 Metacritic average and nominations for Best Punk Record at the 2023 Libera Awards and Best Independent Album at the 2023 AIM Independent Music Awards. In Aprilâ¯2024 he announced the EP Learning to Swim on Empty, released 17⯠May⯠2024, featuring collaborations with poet Rohan Ayinde and author Caleb Femi. In 2026, Wu-Lu teamed up with Poison Anna on the Bakerz Dozen EP.
