Kim Sang-woo, known professionally as Woody, was born on February 2, 1992, in South Korea. Woody's music spans various genres within K-pop and pop music, showcasing his versatility as an artist. He began his music career as a member of the boyband N-Train in 2011. His debut single "Fire Up" was released on January 23, 2019, marking the start of his solo endeavors. Woody's first EP, Nothing's Gonna Be Changed, followed on January 11, 2020. Throughout his career, Woody has released several notable singles and EPs, including "Natural" (2019), "Dance on the Moon" (2019), and the Stray Cat EP (February 19, 2025). When You Alone, his debut album, came out in April 2024. His discography also includes collaborations such as "By Your Side (Crushology 101 OST Part.4)", released on April 26, 2025. That year, Woody also dropped the single "Sadder Than Yesterday", highlighting his enduring presence in the K-pop scene.
