Andrés Felipe Zapata Gaviria, born 21â¯Decemberâ¯1978 in MedellÃn, Colombia, is a Colombian singer who performs as Wolfine. He began recording in the late 1990s, releasing early tracks such as "Scarface: The Untouchable" and "Smile" on cassette and a selfâmade CD, which introduced him to the urban music scene. Wolfineâs first formal project was the Wolfine EP (6â¯Septemberâ¯2012), followed by the album La Versatilidad de la Calle (2â¯Octoberâ¯2013), which included the single "Escapate Conmigo" (9â¯Aprilâ¯2013). Subsequent releases were "Julieta" (2014), "Sin Ti" (2015), and a 2016 series of singles-"Talento de Su Mama", "Te Fallé", "Jaula de Oro"-plus a "Julieta" remix. The single "Bella" (2017) marked a career peak, amassing over 300â¯million Spotify streams, 790â¯million YouTube views, and reaching Numberâ¯12 on Billboard Latin Pop Airplay. Later singles include "Le Pido a Dios" (2018) and "Princesa" (2019). Wolfine has collaborated with Ãengoâ¯Flow, Julioâ¯Voltio, Kafuâ¯Banton, Nickyâ¯Jam, Kingâ¯Chesta, and Thirstinâ¯Howl, and appeared in the 2008 film Hoy Martes.
