Wolf People

Wolf People was an English psychedelic rock ensemble formed in 2005 in Bedford. The group was established by singer and guitarist Jack Sharp and eventually included childhood friend and drummer Tom Watt, guitarist Joe Hollick, and bassist Dan Davies. Sharp originally recorded material under the name Wolf People for the Battered Ornament label. The group became the first British ensemble signed to the American label Jagjaguwar. In February 2010, the band released the compilation Tidings, featuring recordings from 2005 to 2009. The group's debut studio album, Steeple, appeared in October 2010. Its discography included the studio recordings Fain (2013) and Ruins (2016). The ensemble’s musical style transitioned from folk-influenced rock to a psychedelic and hard rock sound. In January 2020, the band announced an indefinite hiatus due to geographical distance and personal commitments.
