Wilson das Neves is a great man of Brazilian music and Latin jazz. Drummer, percussionist, composer and singer, Wilson das Neves made his debut in the 1960s. He is best known as an accompanist to Chico Buarque, Elis Regina, Alcione, Sarah Vaughan and Michel Legrand. His personal career, which began in 1968 with Juventude 2000, has hardly reached a climax. Pra Gente Fazer Mais um Samba, released in 2010, confirms the return of true samba to the land of carnivals.
