Willkuer is a five-piece German rock band from Hülben in Baden-Württemberg, which was founded in 2007. The band consists of Moritz Hermle (vocals), Julian Kuder (guitar), Tobias Röschl (guitar), Andreas Weible (bass) and Florian Söll (drums). Willkuer initially performed as a cover band for many years and played over 200 concerts in southern Germany before the musicians started writing and producing their own songs in 2018. In the same year, guitarist Julian Kuder suffers a cardiac arrest during rehearsals, but survives after receiving rapid medical assistance. In 2019, the band signs a record deal with Rookies & Kings, distributed by Soulfood Music. On May 7, 2021, the debut album Willkuer is released, reaching number 11 in the German album charts. The singles "Willkuer", "Wir sind, wer wir sind", "Scheißegal" and "Für immer ist ne lange Zeit" make the band known to a wider public. Numerous live performances followed, including as support acts for well-known German rock bands. On March 10, 2023, Willkuer released their second studio album Zwei, which reached number 5 in the German charts. It includes the songs "Bevor hier alles hochgeht", "Alles schon gehört", "Ich bin nicht ok", "Heimspiel", "Keiner von Euch" and the ballad "Die Besten sterben nie". The third album Drei is released on June 5, 2025, accompanied by eight pre-released video singles. The album reaches number 2 in the official German album charts, marking the band's biggest commercial success to date. Willkuer stands for anthemic, guitar-driven German rock with catchy choruses, socially critical lyrics and a clear stance against exclusion and intolerance.
