Westside Cowboy

Hailing from the heart of the UK’s ever-evolving indie scene, Manchester, Westside Cowboy ride the line between gritty nostalgia and sharp modern storytelling. With jangly guitar hooks, moody melodies, and lyrics that wander through late-night streets and early morning regrets, their sound nods to British indie rock legends while carving out a voice distinctly their own. Formed in 2023, the four-piece band comprising Reuben Haycocks (guitar, vocals), James (Jimmy) Bradbury (guitar, vocals), Aoife Anson O’Connell (bass guitar, vocals), Paddy Murphy (drums) quickly built a grassroots following through raw, high-energy gigs. Their music weaves together influences from post-punk, Americana, and 2000s indie revival, creating a cinematic atmosphere that feels both intimate and anthemic. They kicked off their recording career in 2024 with their debut single "I've Never Met Anyone I Thought I Could Really Love (Until I Met You)," which was produced by Lewis Whiting of English Teacher. Debut EP, This Better Be Something Great, followed in 2025.
