Drawing energy from the original punk movement, London band Warmduscher formed on New Year's Day 2014 with several members of Fat White Family, guitarists Saul Adamczewski, Lias Saoudi and Adam Harmer, drummer Jack Everett, bassist Ben Romans-Hopcraft and vocalist Clams Baker. Post-punk, dance-punk, psychobilly, garage rock and psychedelic flavor are on the agenda for debut album Khaki Tears, produced by Dan Carey and released on independent label Trashmouth Records in 2015. After a pair of singles, The Kills producer was retained again for second effort Welcome to Whale City (2018), released on The Leaf Label. While Saul Adamczewski leaves to found the band Insecure Men with Romans-Hopcraft, the latter stays on and alternates between the two, alongside Quinn Whalley on keyboards and electronic sound effects on the more experimental third album Tainted Lunch (2019), with contributions from Kool Keith and Iggy Pop. Back after the Covid-19 pandemic, Warmduscher recorded his fourth album At the Hotspot (2022), with producers Joe Goddard and Al Doyle. In 2024, its successor Too Cold to Hold is adorned with disco, funk and new wave touches.
