Vivian Lai

Vivian Lai Shui Yan (黎瑞恩), born on February 18, 1973, in Hong Kong, is a prominent singer known for her hits like "The Rainy Season Won't Return (雨季不再來 )" (1992), "A Dream for Everyone ( 一人有一個夢想 )" (1993), , and "On the Sunny Road ( 陽光路上 )" (1994). She rose to fame in the early 1990s and was part of the "PolyGram Three Flowers" alongside Liu Xiaohui and Tang Baoru. Her debut track, "A Dream for Everyone (一人有一個夢想)", became a major hit in 1993, earning her multiple awards, including the Top Ten Golden Songs title. Lai's career flourished with hit albums such as On the Sunny Road (陽光路上) (1994) and You Love Me (你愛我甚麼) (1995), and she also gained recognition for her collaborations, including with Jacky Cheung on "Endless (長流不息)". In 1995, she expanded her career into Taiwan, where she was dubbed "Little Teresa Teng" due to her voice. However, following a period of hiatus in the late 1990s and early 2000s, Lai took a break from music to work in the insurance industry. She returned to the industry in 2002, releasing her final album Dreams Come True before retiring from the music scene. Lai made a comeback in 2013 for a charity concert, and in 2016, she signed with Star Entertainment, continuing her involvement in music and performances.
