Violette Wautier, born on October 10, 1993, in Yokohama, Kanagawa Prefecture, Japan, is a Thai singer and actress. She grew up in Thailand after her family moved there from Japan when she was two years old. Wautier's initial breakthrough came in 2013 when she auditioned for the second season of The Voice Thailand, performing "Leaving On a Jet Plane" and securing all four coaches' chairs. Although she did not advance past the Knockout round, this exposure led to her first acting role in the horror film The Swimmers. Wautier then recorded songs for various films and television series, including winning the Suphannahong Award for Best Supporting Actress for her performance in Heart Attack (2015). In 2018, she released her first English-language single "Drive" followed by "Smoke", which became a significant hit, breaking records with over 90 million views online and topping charts in multiple Southeast Asian countries. Wautier's debut all-English album Glitter and Smoke was released in June 2020, co-produced entirely by her. Her second album, Your Girl, released in October 2022, marked her first Thai-language album. In 2024, she performed at the 555 Thai Music Festival in Singapore. She has released several notable singles including "Dancing on a Graveyard" (2024) and "wanna be yours" (2025).
