Violeta Rivas

Ana María Francisca Adinolfi, known professionally as Violeta Rivas, was an Argentine singer and actress. She studied lyrical singing and began performing in Buenos Aires in 1960 after being contracted by Ricardo Mejía. That year, she recorded the duet “Llorando Me Dormí” (1960) and released the solo hit “Burbuja Azul” (1960). In 1962, she debuted on television and participated in the program El Club del Clan. Rivas received the award for Best Foreign Singer in Lima, Peru, in 1964. Her hit “¡Que Suerte!” (1964) was followed by the album Que Suerte (1964) and the film Fiebre de primavera (1965). She died in 2018.
