Vincent Gross

Vincent Gross, born on August 23, 1996 in Basel, is a Swiss singer and musician who is at home in the genre of German-language pop hits. He grew up in Switzerland with parents from northern Germany and discovered his love of music at an early age. In addition to singing, he played the ukulele and lute and gained his first experience in a children's choir. Before devoting himself entirely to music, he won several taekwondo championship titles as a teenager. In 2016, Vincent Gross signed a recording contract with Ariola/Sony Music and released his debut album Rückenwind a year later, which reached number 12 in Switzerland and laid the foundation for his career. His style combines catchy melodies, positive lyrics and modern pop production with classic pop elements. His second album Möwengold followed in 2018, reaching number 11 in Germany and number 2 in Switzerland. This was his breakthrough in the German-speaking world. The single "Du, Du, Du" becomes a radio hit and is played many times on German and Swiss radio. With Hautnah (2021), Vincent Gross reaches number 1 in the album charts in Switzerland for the first time and number 7 in Germany. The follow-up album Frei (2022) continues this success and reaches number 1 in Switzerland again and number 4 in Germany. 2025 sees the release of the album Prost!, which builds on the previous successes and reaches number 4 in Switzerland and number 12 in Germany. Vincent Gross is not only active as a musician, but also as a television presenter. Since 2020, he has regularly hosted music programs and appeared on numerous TV shows.
