Villanosam

Villanosam, born Winston Antonio Aponte Acta in San Pedro de Macorís on February 20, 1979, began his journey in Dominican urban music as a member of hip-hop collective Perfecto Clan in 2000 before launching a solo career in 2005. He dropped early singles like “Ya Sí Soy Rap” (2005) and “Tremenda Abusadora” (2006), showcasing his gritty voice and rhymes grounded in Dominican street life. In 2016 he released the hit single "Tokyo," followed by his full-length album Psicodelia in 2017, both projects pushing Caribbean rhythms into urbano soundscapes. He continues adapting to the changing scene with singles like “El Sapito” (2019, featuring Mozart La Para and Ceky Viciny), “Amigos” (2019), and collaborative remixes like “Que Buena Tu Ta” (2020). In 2023 he issued “Blanca Con Culo 2.0,” reaffirming his status as a veteran voice in Dominican rap. A year later, Villanosam dropped “Buenisima,” a single that blends fresh production with nostalgic lyricism.
