Vidoll

Vidoll, a Japanese visual kei rock band, was formed in 2002 with Rame as the founding member. The group's concept revolved around occult romance. Vidoll released their first two complementary EPs, Face Pisaroto and Face Mayura, in 2002, under Matina Records. These EPs sold out on the day of release, establishing an early breakthrough for the band. Vidoll's career saw several significant milestones, including their first single "Occult Proposal" released in December 2002, and contributions to various compilation CDs. After Matina shut down, Vidoll signed with Under Code Production in March 2003. The band's first national tour followed the release of their EP If... Yakubutsu Ranyou Bokumetsu Campaign. In 2004, Vidoll released their first full-length album Bijinkei, which was also released in Europe by Mabell Records. Notable singles from this period include "Wagahai wa, Korosuke Nari..." and "Ningyo". The band's tour Toumeihanzai marked the departure of members Hide and Yukine in June 2005. Vidoll continued with new members Shun and Gil, signing to Sword Records and releasing their major-label debut single "Puzzle ring". In 2010, Jui announced a hiatus due to health issues, leading to the band's eventual disbandment in 2011. Vidoll's final album BEST was released that year.
