From the Pablo Picasso housing estate in Nanterre, in the Hauts-de-Seine department, rapper Ven1 leaves few clues as to his identity, appearing with his face hidden behind sunglasses, a balaclava and a hood. His stage name, however, quickly circulated on the French rap scene, thanks to his first single, a melancholy track dotted with guitars,"Hakayet" . In 2024, the clip garnered over five million views on YouTube in less than three months, and reached number 23 on the French singles chart. Following on from this, in May, he released a second track with a cloud rap feel,"Bougie", the final step before the album Nichen, No. 3 in album sales in June 2025.
