Vayb is a Haitian kompa group founded in 2017 and led by singer Mickaël Guirand, a former member of the famous group Carimi. After Carimi split up, Guirand launched Vayb to offer modern kompa, blending romantic melodies, festive energy and contemporary influences. The group is enjoying rapid success in Haiti and the diaspora, with albums such as Game Over (2018) and Mayday (2023). The former spawned the viral hit "Ou Pa Vle", while the latter saw its title track rank 59th on the Outre-Mer Songs charts. Boosted by the fame of its singer, Vayb performs on international stages and in 2021 released two live albums, Nou Repran Lari A, Vol. 1 & 2. In 2025, the group scored another hit with "Nap Desann", ranked #11 in the Outre-Mer Songs charts.
