Urashimasakatasen is a Japanese music group formed in 2013, consisting of members Uratanuki, Shima, Tonari no Sakata, and Senra. The group got their start by posting singing videos on video streaming sites. In 2015, they made their debut with the mini album Hajimari no Aizu. In 2016, they signed with JVCKenwood Victor Entertainment and released their album Cruise Ticket, marking their major debut. The following year, they transitioned to NBCUniversal Entertainment Japan, under which they released Four the C in 2017. The year 2018 saw the release of their third major album, V-enus, which topped the Oricon and Billboard Japan charts. In 2019, their album $HUFFLE earned a gold disc. Urashimasakatasen continued their success with the LP Rainbow in 2020, followed by L∞VE in 2021, which quickly topped the Oricon charts. Their subsequent albums, Toni9ht in 2022, Plusss in 2023, and Weddiing in 2024, further solidified their presence in the Japanese music scene, with each release securing high positions on the charts. In addition to their music career, they were featured in a short anime series titled Urashima Sakata sen no nichijō, broadcast on Tokyo MX. The series depicted the members' youth and high school experiences, with each member voicing their own character.
