U_Chae

U_Chae, formerly known as Dajeong, is a South Korean singer and lyricist currently under JUNITY Entertainment. She began her career in 2016 as a member of the kids’ girl group SUPA, debuting with the digital single SUPA. After one more release in 2017, the group disbanded in 2018. In 2020, she re-emerged as a member of the girl group PIXY and debuted with them on February 24, 2021, with the track ”Wings". She remained active with PIXY until announcing her departure on June 20, 2024, via Instagram. Just days later, she reintroduced herself under the new stage name U_Chae and was revealed as a special panelist for the 2024 Otakon convention. Marking her birthday, U_Chae made her solo debut on July 31, 2024, with the mini album Awake. Preceded by the single "One Sweet Day", the project established her as a solo artist blending lyrical depth with pop sensibilities. She continued releasing music with "You Are My Christmas"(2024) and "Morning Call"(2024), a collaboration with Uki Satake. In 2025, U_Chae announced her Japanese debut album Prism of Love, set for March 5. The pre-release single "Red Sun", launched on February 11, showcases her evolving artistry and cross-market appeal.
