Tyrants in Therapy, an American musical group from Los Angeles, California, formed in 1983. The original members were Michael Jaye, Abbe Kanter, Carol Hannan, and Charles Lamont. They released their first record, 3 People Nude Below the Waist, in 1984. Their breakthrough came in 1986 with the single "Too Tuff To Cry", which sold over 100,000 copies in Southern California and Mexico. The band continued to release singles and albums, including Meet The Tyrants in Therapy (2000) and High Class Trash (2009). They also produced a music and comedy television program, Meet The Tyrants in Therapy, which aired from 2001 to 2008. In 2012, they returned to the international dance scene with "Perfect Love", which reached Number 1 on Top80 Radio in Warsaw.
