Tsutomu

Tsutomu is a singer-songwriter from Saga Prefecture known for his clear, powerful vocals and percussive guitar playing. After relocating to Tokyo in 2008 and spending time in a music unit, he launched his solo career in 2011. Since then, he has built a versatile performance portfolio, appearing at resort hotels, outdoor festivals, cafes, and live houses. His music is marked by catchy melodies and an emotionally resonant vocal tone that appeals to a broad audience. In 2013, he released his debut single "Magnet Switch", followed by his first full-length album Pop’n Rock in 2017, arranged by Takashi Iwato. A major milestone came in 2019 with a solo concert at Nerima Culture Center, drawing over 300 attendees. His second album, NEXT, arrived in 2022. The 2024 single ”Arigatou" surpassed 100,000 streams, also charting at #2 on Spain’s iTunes J-Pop chart. Tsutomu’s work has earned notable chart placements, including #38 on Apple Music U.S. J-Pop albums and multiple #1 rankings on domestic Japanese platforms. He has appeared on J-WAVE, NHK Saga, and FM Saga, and performed at venues including Aeon Mall and the Megami Festival in Jiyugaoka. In 2025, he released Houshasen, continuing his upward momentum.
