Trucha

Trucha, whose real name is Ramiro Carrera, is an Argentine singer-songwriter from San Martín de los Andes, Neuquén, known for blending confessional lyricism with sleek, synth-inflected pop. He began releasing music independently in the early 2020s, gaining attention with introspective singles such as “no hubo respuesta” and “dime que no quieres,” which showcased a diaristic tone and minimalist production. His first album, LLAMADAS (2023), and its expanded LLAMADAS (Deluxe) (2024) established his identity as a storyteller exploring intimacy, distance, and self-doubt through simple yet emotional melodies. In 2025, Carrera launched a new artistic phase with “No me quiero ver,” a song that captured his mix of vulnerability and rhythmic drive and became his breakthrough track on streaming platforms. The same year he released the two-part project A Ramiro: and A Ramiro: (Parte II), featuring songs like “Suficiente,” “Invicta,” and “BUMBASTIC,” expanding his sonic palette with more polished electronic textures while maintaining his confessional voice.
