Tracy + The Plastics

Tracy + The Plastics, an American electropop and video project group from Olympia, Washington, was created by Wynne Greenwood. The group consisted of three characters—Nikki Romanos on keyboard, Cola on drums, and Tracy as lead vocals—all portrayed by Greenwood through video projection. The project emerged from Greenwood's earlier works and blended lo-fi filmmaking, performance art, and feminist politics with Devo-styled songs. They released their album Culture For Pigeon in 2004 under Troubleman Unlimited Records. The group performed at notable venues such as the Whitney Biennale in 2004 and The Kitchen in New York in 2005. In June 2006, Greenwood ended the Tracy + The Plastics project.
