Tommy Finke

Thomas David Finke, known professionally as Tommy Finke, was born on February 4, 1981, in Bochum, West Germany. He began performing in 1997, initially covering Oasis songs before creating his own material. Influenced by artists such as The Beatles and The Cure, Finke formed the band Stromgitarre in 1999, later renamed to include himself. In 2003, he started studying electronic composition at the Folkwang Hochschule in Essen. His debut album, Repariert, Was Euch Kaputt Macht!, was released in 2008 under his own label, Retter des Rock Records. Finke's subsequent albums include Poet Der Affen (2010), which featured songs in both German and English, and Unkämmbar (2013). He also composed music for theater productions at Theater Dortmund. Notable singles include "Halt Alle Uhren An / Stop The Clocks" (2010) and "Robert Smith In Meiner Kneipe" (2011).
