Tomasa del Real

Valeria Cisternas, known professionally as Tomasa del Real, was born on December 7, 1986, in Iquique, Chile. Before entering the music industry, she studied fashion design in Santiago and later moved to Buenos Aires to continue her work in fashion and tattoo art. Upon returning to Iquique, Cisternas opened a store for her designs and began tatuing, eventually exchanging tattoos for studio time. In 2016, Tomasa del Real released her debut album Bien y Mal, which included the track "Tu señora." The following year, she participated in the second edition of Ruidosa Fest, the first all-female music festival in Latin America. In January 2019, she was announced as a performer at the Coachella Festival. Tomasa del Real is a member of the Latin Recording Academy, and her song "Barre con el Pelo" was included in Rolling Stone's top 100 Mejores Canciones de Reggaeton de la Historia in 2022.
