Tobias Lützenkirchen

German DJ and producer Tobias Lützenkirchen was born in Neuss in 1977. He has been one of the defining figures of the German club and techno scene since the early 2000s. He has been active in music since the mid-1990s. In 2005, he started out under his own name with the release of the EP Daily Disco. In 2006, he founded the Platform B label. He had previously run the Tabula Raza label together with Marc Romboy. Tobias Lützenkirchen established himself as an independent player in the electronic scene. With his projects, some under various pseudonyms, he is shaping the style between techno, house and trance. With clearly driving beats, rich basses and club-ready grooves. He combines elements of rave, electro and minimal techno and celebrates success with numerous mixes, club tracks and live sets that bring him to festivals and clubs internationally. Famous releases include Daily Disco (2005), Pandora Electronica (2008), with the single hits "A View to the Sea" (2007) and "Drei Tage wach" (2008). He is also known under his artist names LXR and LU‡ZENHΩUSE, which he uses to release new tracks and remixes. Tobias Lützenkirchen is considered a pioneer of new school techno in Germany. With his productions and his label, he builds a bridge between underground rave and club mainstream.
