Titi Dwi Jayati, better known as Titi DJ, is an Indonesian pop diva, singer, songwriter, and talent show judge. Born in Jakarta in 1966, Titi began her career at a young age, singing on public television and representing Indonesia in the Miss World 1983 competition. Despite not being a finalist, she continued to pursue a career in music, performing with Guruh Soekarnoputra's Swara Mahardhikka troupe and singing backup vocals for Indonesian pop singer Chrisye. Titi released her first solo album, Imajinasi, in 1984, and her singing career took off in the 1990s with hit singles such as "Bintang-Bintang," "Ekspresi," and "Salahkah Aku." Throughout her career, Titi has released myriad albums, including Imajinasi (1984), Yang Pertama Yang Bahagia (1986), Titi DJ (1989), Take Me Heaven (1991), and Kuingin (1996). Her most successful album however, was Bahasa Kalbu (1999), earning her five awards at the 3rd Anugerah Musik Indonesia Awards, including Album of the Year, Artist of the Year, and Songwriter of the Year. Continuing to release hit albums in the 2000s, she enjoyed further commercial success with Senyuman (2003), Melayani Hatimu (2006) and Titi To Diana (2009), among others. In addition to her successful music career, Titi has also made a name for herself as a talent show judge, appearing on Indonesian Idol, Golden Memories (Vol.1 and 2), Q Academy (Season 1) and The Voice Indonesia (Season 3 and 4). In 2020, the track "Show Off Your Colors" featuring Eka Gustiwana and Sarah Fajira, received considerable airplay with the singer releasing 2021 singles “Superwoman” and “Still Learning”. In March, 2022 Titi DJ released “To Lose” ; an emotional track that was inspired by her fans.
