Tiny-G

Tiny-G, a South Korean idol group formed by GNG Production, debuted in 2012 as a quartet of young performers—Mint, Dohee, J.Min, and Myungji—who gained early attention on MBC’s Show Champion with the pre-debut track “Polaris”. The group’s breakthrough came with their self-titled single “Tiny-G” on 23 August 2012, followed by the single “Minimanimo” released on 21 January 2013, whose title track achieved viral attention and helped establish their presence in the K-pop scene. Subsequent releases included “Miss You” on 2 October 2013 and “Ice Baby” on 3 July 2014, the latter promoting the group as a trio after Myungji’s departure in June 2014 to pursue acting. In November 2014, the Thai sub-unit Tiny-G M, composed of Mint and J.Min, debuted with “The Only One” in collaboration with Thai artist Natthew. By early 2015, Dohee withdrew from group activities, leading GNG Production to place Tiny-G on indefinite hiatus.
