Tinted Windows was an American rock supergroup formed in 2009. The supergroup consisted of James Iha of The Smashing Pumpkins, Taylor Hanson of Hanson, Adam Schlesinger of Fountains of Wayne and Ivy, and Bun E. Carlos of Cheap Trick. They released their self-titled debut album in 2009, under S-Curve Records. The band performed at notable events like South by Southwest and The Bamboozle, and digitally released their debut single, "Kind of a Girl", in 2009. They toured extensively in the U.S. in 2009 and Japan in 2010. Adam Schlesinger died of complications related to COVID-19 in 2020. The band reunited in 2021 for a live streaming event honoring Schlesinger's memory.
