Tim Wilson

Timothy Collins Wilson, born in 1961 in Columbus, Georgia, was an American comedian and country music artist. He began his recording career in Atlanta with the Southern Tracks label. He released albums like It's A Sorry World (1999) and Gettin' My Mind Right (1999) on Capitol Records Nashville. Wilson later recorded extensively in Muscle Shoals, Alabama, collaborating with notable musicians on projects like Allnight Allstars. He released over a dozen comedy albums, including several for Capitol Records Nashville. His notable songs include “Garth Brooks Has Ruined My Life” and “The Ballad of John Rocker”. Wilson made frequent appearances on radio shows like The Bob and Tom Show and television programs such as The Tonight Show with Jay Leno. He was posthumously inducted into the Georgia Music Hall of Fame in 2015. He died of a heart attack in 2014.
