Thunderstone

Thunderstone, a power metal band from Helsinki, Finland, was formed in 2000 by guitarist Nino Laurenne. The initial lineup included bassist Titus Hjelm, vocalist Pasi Rantanen, and drummer Mirka Rantanen. Their self-titled debut album was released in July 2002 and gained significant attention on year-end "Top Metal Albums Of 2002" lists. The Burning, the band's second album, reached number 13 on the official Finnish album chart in February 2004. Thunderstone participated in the Finnish Eurovision Song Contest in 2006 with "Forevermore", finishing second. Notable singles include "10.000 Ways" and "I Almighty". The band's lineup underwent changes, including Pasi Rantanen returning on vocals in 2013. Their album, Apocalypse Again, was released in April 2016.
