THETHE is a South Korean modern rock band that debuted in 1997, initially forming as a duo with Kim Young-jun and Park Hye-kyoung. They released their first album, The More The Better, and gained popularity with the title track "Return to Me." After releasing their 2nd full album The One And The Other, original vocalist Park Hye-kyoung left the group, and they recruited Han Hee-jung as the new vocalist, continuing Kim Young-jun's musical career. In 2003, their album The The Band was awarded Album of the Year at the first Korean Music Awards, marking a shift to a darker, heavier modern rock sound compared to their earlier work. The band has been active in releasing singles and producing various commercial music and OSTs. In 2015, their eighth album Anybody Here introduced the clear vocals of new singer Lee Hyun-young, who is still with the band as of 2025. The single "I'M GONNA MISS YOU (Rewind)," released on June 25, 2025, immediately debuted at number 10 on Melon’s Top 500 chart on the day of its release, proving that the band continues to be celebrated as a leading modern rock band.
