The Yayhoos were an American country rock group formed in 1993, consisting of Eric "Rosco" Ambel on guitar/vocals, Dan Baird on guitar/vocals, Keith Christopher on bass, and Terry Anderson on drums/vocals. The band was initially conceived as a temporary project to promote the solo records of its members. Their debut album, Fear Not the Obvious, was released in 2001 by Bloodshot Records. The Yayhoos' second album, Put the Hammer Down, followed in 2006 on Ambel's DIY label Lakeside Lounge Records. In 2020, The Yayhoos were selected for the 5th Outlaw Country Cruise.
