The Vintage Caravan

The Vintage Caravan, a rock band from Álftanes, Iceland, was formed in 2006 by Óskar Logi Ágústsson (vocals, guitar) and Guðjón Reynisson (drums). The duo began their musical journey at the age of 12, with serious work commencing in 2009. Their first self-titled album The Vintage Caravan was released independently in 2011. In early 2012, the band signed a deal with Icelandic record label Sena ahead of work for their second album. Alexander Örn Númason shortly joined on bass before the release of Voyage in 2014 initially by Sena, which included the video for "Expand Your Mind" that reached four hundred thousand views on YouTube by July 2015. The band signed with Nuclear Blast which shortly after re-released Voyage to a much wider audiene. The band's lineup changed in 2015 when Guðjón Reynisson left, and Stefán Ari Stefánsson joined as the new drummer. Their subsequent albums Arrival (2015) and Gateways (2018) were also released under Nuclear Blast. In 2021, they signed with Napalm Records for their fifth album Monuments. The band is known for their hard rock sound influenced by classic bands like Led Zeppelin and Deep Purple, blending it with a modern touch. In 2023 was released the live album The Monuments Tour, followed by the sixth studio full-length, Portals, in September 2025.
