The Orion Experience

The Orion Experience, an American pop rock band, was formed in New York City in 2005 by singer/songwriter Orion Simprini and Linda Horwatt. The band released their debut studio album Cosmicandy in 2006 on Sweet! Records. In early 2008, Perez Hilton praised the song "Obsessed With You" (2007) as "an indie pop gem." Their EP Heartbreaker (2008), produced by Maroon 5 producer Jon Kaplan, was released later that year. The band's immersive theater show at Dixon Place in Manhattan's Lower East Side in October 2012 led to an off-Broadway production called The Orion Experience the following year, accompanied by their second full-length album Children of the Stars (2013). After a hiatus during which both lead singers released solo albums, The Orion Experience reestablished themselves in 2021 with the compilation album Sugar Deluxe, followed by their third studio album Fever Dream later that same year.
