The Flying Luttenbachers

The Flying Luttenbachers, an American instrumental noise rock band, was formed in December 1991 in Chicago, Illinois. The group was led by multi-instrumentalist and composer Weasel Walter, with initial members including Hal Russell and Chad Organ. Their debut single "546 Seconds Of Noise" was released in 1992. Over the years, the band's lineup evolved significantly under Walter’s leadership, featuring notable musicians such as Ken Vandermark, Fred Lonberg-Holm, and Mick Barr. The Flying Luttenbachers released several albums, including Constructive Destruction (1994), Revenge (1996), and The Void (2004). They toured extensively with bands like Lightning Bolt and U.S. Maple. In November 2007, the band officially disbanded following the release of their final studio album Incarceration by Abstraction. The Flying Luttenbachers reformed in 2017 and released subsequent albums such as Shattered Dimension (2019) and Terror Iridescence (2022).
