The Districts was an American rock band from Lititz, Pennsylvania, that formed in 2009. The group was established by high school students Rob Grote, Mark Larson, Connor Jacobus, and Braden Lawrence and later relocated to Philadelphia. They released the EP Kitchen Songs (2011) and the studio album Telephone (2012) before signing with Fat Possum Records in 2013. Their subsequent recordings include the eponymous EP The Districts (2014) and the studio album A Flourish and a Spoil (2015), the latter of which reached number 7 on the Billboard Heatseekers chart. The ensemble released the albums Popular Manipulations (2017) and You Know I'm Not Going Anywhere (2020). Their final studio album, Great American Painting, was released (2022). The band members disbanded following a tour in 2022.
