The Beauty of Gemina

The Beauty of Gemina is a Swiss darkwave and rock ensemble founded in 2006 by Michael Sele. Their debut album, Diary of a Lost (2006), featured the breakthrough single "Suicide Landscape," which achieved significant success on the gothic music charts. Following a 2008 support slot for The Smashing Pumpkins and a performance at Wave-Gotik-Treffen, the band released A Stranger to Tears (2008), peaking at number three on the German Alternative Charts. Their prolific discography includes Iscariot Blues (2012), the acoustic The Myrrh Sessions (2013), Ghost Prayers (2014), and Flying with the Owl (2018). In 2019, the Gonzen-Kulturpreis honored Sele for his artistic contributions. The group later released Skeleton Dreams (2020) and Songs of Love and Death (2024).
