THE BAWDIES

The Bawdies are a J-pop and rock band formed in Tokyo in 2004. Their debut album 'Yesterday and Today' came out in 2006 followed by 'Awaking of Rhythm and Blues' (2008) and 'This Is My Story' (2009). 'There's No Turning Back' (2010) and 'Live the Life I Love' (2011) both went to number six on Japan's Oricon Albums Chart. Hit singles include 'I Love You Need You' which went to number three on Japan's Oricon Singles Chart and Billboard's Japan Hot 100 in 2011. 'Red Rocket Ship' (2011) reached number 12 and number eight and 'Rock Me Baby' (2012) peaked at number six. They released 'New' in 2017 with the lead track 'Sunshine'. Their 2019 schedule included appearances at Sweet Love Shower 2019 in Yamanashi and Otodama 18-19 in Miura, Kanagawa.
