Teto, born Clériton Sávio Santos Silva on October 19, 2001, in Jacobina, Bahia, rose from recording homemade previews in his bedroom to becoming one of Brazil’s leading trap stars. He gained viral fame through unofficial uploads of songs like "M4" and early collaborations such as "Drip da Roça" and "Saturno," which eventually led to a record deal with 30PRAUM, Matuê’s label, in 2021. His official breakout came with the massive success of "M4" featuring Matuê, followed by the EP Prévias.zip, which dominated streaming charts across Brazil and marked him as a Spotify RADAR artist. In 2021, he innovated with the release of "Groupies," whose premiere broke viewership records via an exclusive Cinemark partnership, and continued with singles like "Mustang Preto" and "A Lua." Despite a quiet period, Teto returned in 2025 with the EP tempo.zip and finally delivered his long-awaited debut studio album MAIOR QUE O TEMPO, a dual-disc project showcasing both his trap roots and experimental side.
