Teen Suicide

Teen Suicide, an American indie rock band from Baltimore, Maryland, was formed in 2009 by Sam Ray on vocals and guitar, Eric Livingston on drums. Their first release was the compilation Bad Vibes Forever (2011). In September 2012, Teen Suicide released their debut full-length album, I Will Be My Own Hell Because There Is a Devil Inside My Body. The band's lineup evolved over time, with Alec Simke becoming a full-time member. In 2013, the band announced their breakup but reunited in 2014 for various performances and releases, including It's a Big Joyous Celebration, Let's Stir the Honeypot (2016). After the departure of guitarist John Toohey and drummer Sean Mercer in 2016, Teen Suicide became a duo consisting of Sam Ray and singer Kitty Pryde. The band released Honeybee Table at the Butterfly Feast in 2022 and Nude Descending Staircase Headless in 2026.
