Taburete

Taburete, the Spanish pop-rock band formed in Madrid in 2014 by Guillermo "Willy" Bárcenas and Antón Carreño, began their musical journey performing in small venues under the name Altramuz y Taburete. Their debut album, Tres Tequilas (2015), introduced their unique blend of pop-rock with influences from ranchera, bolero, and ska. This was followed by Dr. Charas (2016), which achieved double platinum status in Spain and featured hits like "Amos del Piano Bar." In 2018, they released Madame Ayahuasca, showcasing a more eclectic sound. Their fourth album, La Broma Infinita (2021), continued to build their reputation, leading to the release of Matadero 5 in October 2022, which included the single "Roto y Elegante." In 2023, they released the single "En Mi Cama." In early 2025, they announced a hiatus from live performances after a decade of touring, with their final concert held at the Starlite Christmas festival in Madrid. Despite stepping back from the stage, Taburete continued to produce music, releasing "Primer Intento," the lead single from their upcoming sixth album .
