T with the Maggies

T with the Maggies, an Irish traditional supergroup from County Donegal, Ireland, formed in 2007. The band consisted of Moya Brennan, Mairéad Ní Mhaonaigh, Tríona Ní Dhomhnaill and Maighread Ní Dhomhnaill, all accomplished musicians with extensive careers prior to their collaboration. Their debut performance took place at a tribute concert for folk singer and guitarist Mícheál Ó Domhnaill in May 2007. The group's first official concerts under the name T with the Maggies occurred at Temple Bar TradFest 2009, followed by performances at the Irish Global Economic Summit later that year. Their debut album, T with the Maggies, was released in October 2010. The group is notable for their collaboration on the folk song "Two Sisters" for Sam Shepard's play Ages of the Moon.
