SYNDI8 is a virtual girl group launched by Supertone, a subsidiary of HYBE, on June 27, 2024, with their debut single album titled MVP. The group consists of four virtual members: Nest, Canary, Goyo, and Raven. Their introduction into the music scene was facilitated by Supertone's innovative AI voice replication software, Supertone Shift, which allows for real-time vocal transformation using a library of predefined voices. This technology was first tested with artist MIDNATT's digital single "Masquerade", showcasing its capability to seamlessly transition between natural and AI-generated vocals in various languages. The technology's promise lies in its swift analysis and conversion of voices, reportedly taking just ten seconds to process. SYNDI8's formation marks a significant step in integrating AI technology with music production, providing a novel experience in the evolving landscape of virtual entertainment.
