Sybreed

Sybreed, a Swiss industrial metal band formed in 2003 in Geneva, was founded by vocalist Benjamin Nominet and guitarist Thomas "Drop" Betrisey. The group initially included bassist Burn and drummer Alex. In their debut year, Sybreed focused on writing material for their first album, Slave Design, released in 2004. Following extensive tours across the United States and Europe, the band faced a hiatus when Alex left due to creative differences. Dirk Verbeuren temporarily joined as a session drummer for their second album, Antares (2007), which was later permanently recorded by Kevin Choiral. The album was released under Listenable Records and included an additional track, "Plasmaterial", for the U.S. release. Sybreed's third album, The Pulse of Awakening, produced by Rhys Fulber, was released in 2009. In October 2013, Benjamin Nominet announced his departure from the band due to professional and labor reasons, leading to their disbandment.
