Sweet Vacation

Sweet Vacation was formed in 2006 by Hayakawa Daichi, a Tokyo‑born keyboardist and producer born 19 August 1977, and Thai vocalist May, born 4 May 1990 in Bangkok, who joined the unit after meeting Hayakawa Daichi in Thailand. The duo debuted in 2007 with the independent single "I Feel So Good" and the album More the Vacation!! on 16 April 2008, followed by the EP I Miss You on 20 August 2008 under Victor Entertainment. Their first major single, "Sayonara my days", released 18 February 2009, marked their entry into the mainstream market. Sweet Vacation continued to release a series of studio albums, including Kira Kira Pop!! (24 March 2009), and pop save the world!! (5 August 2009), the latter of which reached Number 61 on the Oricon charts. The group also issued Cover the Vacation!! on 20 January 2010 and Re;未来派宣言 on 14 July 2010, maintaining a presence in both Japan and Thailand. Throughout their career, Sweet Vacation collaborated with international artists and participated in multiple tours across Asia, contributing to the cross‑cultural spread of electronic pop.
