Subsonic Experience is the groundbreaking electronic duo formed by two seasoned German artists, Bernhard Wöstheinrich and Thorsten Niestrath. With decades of combined experience in the realm of electronic music, the duo crafts innovative soundscapes that blur the lines between ambient, experimental, krautrock, and modular synthesis. Bernhard Wöstheinrich, born in 1968, is known for his emotive, atmospheric compositions and his mastery of synthesisers. Meanwhile, Thorsten Niestrath, born in 1967, brings his technical prowess and deep knowledge of modular synthesis to the table. The duo have put out releases sporadically over the years, with Präposition emerging in 2003 and Leftovers following 17 years later.
