Stiftelsen

Stiftelsen is a Swedish rock band formed in Ljungaverk in 2010 by vocalist Robert Pettersson together with guitarist Mikael Eriksson, bassist Arne Johansson and drummer Martin Källström, all of whom had previously played together in a second band of the same name. The group’s breakthrough came with the single "Vart Jag Än Går" released on 30 May 2012, which topped the Swedish charts for six weeks and earned a ten‑fold platinum certification. The debut album Ljungaverk followed on 26 September 2012, reaching number 2 on the Swedish album chart and spawning five additional charting tracks. In 2013 the single "En Annan Värld" preceded the second album Dopet, which entered the charts at Number 1 on 30 October 2013. Subsequent releases, Kom som du är (25 March 2015) and Allting låter som Slipknot (20 January 2017), continued the band’s presence in the Scandinavian pop‑rock scene, with singles such as "Giftet" (24 October 2014) and "UB2" (13 January 2017) adding to their catalog of chart‑successing songs. The band maintained a consistent output while retaining a Swedish lyrical identity, solidifying its position within Sweden’s contemporary rock landscape.
