STi, born Jang Seohyun on February 23, 1983, in Changwon, South Korea, is a singer, producer, and songwriter known for his contributions to the Korean hip-hop and R&B scene. He debuted in 2007 with the self-produced digital single "Discovery", showcasing his talents in rapping, vocals, jacket design, and music video production. Initially active in the underground hip-hop scene, STi joined MC Hansae’s BCR Crew in 2000 and later formed the group AG 266 in 2002 under the stage name STY. After completing his military service in 2005, he resumed his solo career and released "Discovery" in 2008 through his independent label, Space Flatform. He briefly joined J&K Entertainment but returned to independent work after limited success. STi is known for his role in Freestyle Town, collaborating with artists like Sool J and Ultima Drap. His RH-project, blending R&B and hip-hop, gained recognition among enthusiasts. His discography spans multiple genres, with notable releases like BIOGRAPHY (2015) and "Blue Jelly Cake" (2025), solidifying his presence in Korea’s alternative rock and hip-hop scene.
