Stela Cole

Stela Cole, born Hollyn Elizabeth Shadinger on October 21, 1997, in Knoxville, Tennessee, is an American singer-songwriter. Adopted at birth and raised in Peachtree City, Georgia, Cole initially pursued a career in soccer but shifted her focus to music after sustaining a back injury. Her early demos caught the attention of local producers, leading to her first manager, Steve Sparrow. In 2018, Cole signed with RCA Records, releasing her debut single "You F O" and EP Throwing Up Butterflies. However, creative differences led to her departure from the label later that year. Cole then independently released her EP Woman of the Hour in 2020 through Stelavision Records and AWAL. In 2021, she signed with Ultra Records and participated in the first season of American Song Contest, representing Georgia with "DIY" and reaching the semi-finals. Throughout 2022-2023, Cole released several non-album singles including "Rhapsody In Pink", "Star", "Bye Bye Blues", and "Roses". In 2024, she exited her label deal and released her debut album I Die Where You Begin in 2025.
