Spose

Ryan Michael Peters, aka Spose, is a musical comedian from the United States who adopted his stage name in 2007 when he released his first album 'Preposterously Dank' on his own label of the same name. He remains staunchly independent although he does collaborate with other artists, most notably with rapper Cam Groves. Despite no major label support, his 2010 single 'I'm Awesome' received local airplay in Maine before being picked up nationally and winning him a recording contract with the Universal Music group via Republic Records. The same year Spose released album 'We Smoked It All Vol. 2'. He supported this by releasing all the tracks that failed to make the final cut as a separate project called 'Happy Medium'. In 2012 Spose received a major boost when the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation selected 'I'm Awesome' as the theme tune for the comedy show 'Mr. D' which ran for eight seasons. He followed this in 2013 with 'The Peter Sparker Mixtape' and 'Dankonia', the latter being a mixtape using the music of Outkast. He continued to write, record and release music with brand new project Good Luck With Your Life that included an album of the same name which could be listened to while playing his 'South Park' influenced video game, 'Spose: King of Maine' in 2017.
